The web page Pearls of Weber, commonly referred to as the infodump, is an internet project that collects comments, letters and details David Weber has given on his books and the different fictional universes depicted in them.
The Map of the planet Safehold is available on the infodump, as are a number of other details on the Safehold Series that are not explained in the novels. The Safehold Wiki regards these explanations as canonical, sometimes even outranking the books, since Weber sometimes corrects errors which found their way into the printed version.
