Kyplyngyr Forest was a large, mostly mature unconsecrated forest that dominated the central north of the South March Lands in the Republic of Siddarmark.
The forest held few of the titan oaks common in less temperate latitudes of Safehold, but it did hold nearoak, nearpoplar, sky comb, talon branch, scabbark, and fire oil vine. The bottom twenty feet of the talon branch were clear of their nasty thorns and the nearpoplar was decently spaced.
In February of the Year of God 897, the Battle of Kyplyngyr Forest was fought in the area. (LAMA)
