The Lizardherd Square Riot occurred in September of the Year of God 893, at Lizardherd Square in the city of Manchyr in the Princedom of Corisande.
Originally planned by the Corisandian Resistance, the riot quickly grew as it moved towards Manchyr Cathedral. Lieutenant Brahd Tahlas, the youthful commanding officer of Second Platoon, Alpha Company, Royal Charisian Marine Corps, was able to break up the riot by fixing bayonets, and keeping injuries to a minimium, but not before a member of the Resistance was able to fire a shot. Lieutenant Tahlas was later commended for his actions.
In the time after the riot there was more effort on behalf of the occupation forces to speed up the hand over to Corisandian forces. (AMF)
