The Mighty Host of God and the Archangels was a Harchongese army raised by the Church of God Awaiting during the Jihad against the Empire of Charis and the Republic of Siddarmark.
Order of Battle[]
Commanded by Lord of Horse Tyshu Daiyang, Earl Rainbow Waters, it consisted of mostly conscripted Harchongese serfs and minor peasants, equipped with 600,000[1] rifles and trained in the Border States. (LAMA)

After the Jihad ended, the nobles of North Harchong refused to allow the Mighty Host's soldiers to return to the Empire. Since most of them were conscripted serfs or minor peasants; the nobles feared the result if serfs with military training were allowed to return, considering how serfs were normally treated. Grand Vicar Rhobair agreed under protest to keep the Mighty Host out of Harchong, on the condition that the families of officers (who were drawn mostly from the upper classes) be allowed to join their husbands and fathers in exile if they so chose. He arranged for the Host's soldiers to settle in the Temple Lands. Many officers abandoned the Host to accept imperial invitations to return home. However, Rainbow Waters and his second in command, Baron Wind Song, refused to abandon their men, and as a consequence lost of their estates.
After the Harchongese serf rebellion in 903, Rainbow Waters and Wind Song led the Host into the eastern portion of North Harchong and established a provisional government nominally under the emperor. However, the emperor's denunciations and refusal to work with the Host led Rainbow Waters to declare East Harchong's independence and establish a parliament to write a constitution. (TFT)
