On Obedience and Faith was a writ of instruction by Grand Vicar Tomhys.

Written almost five hundred years before the Schism of the Churches, it established that, despite the Proscriptions of Jwo-jeng and God's commandment to avoid change, there were times when attempts to deny, or evade, the consequences of necessary change became a sin in themselves.

In May of the Year of God 892, Archbishop of Charis Maikel Staynair mentioned it as an inspiration for the Schism and the creation of the Church of Charis. (BSRA)
