Trellheim was a continent on the northern hemisphere of Safehold, just east of Chisholm and north of the Great Western Ocean.
In the second half of the 9th Century of God, a Trellheim-based piracy confederacy unofficially subsidized by the League of Corisande troubled the Kingdom of Chisholm's trade. The Chisholmian military fought the pirates under the leadership of King Sailys, who eventually died in battle.
For a brief time, it was thought that the Church of God Awaiting would subsidize Trellheim's ship-building capacity to aid in the war again the Empire of Charis. However, due to its low poplulation, fractured leadership, and general lawlessness, it was felt that even its small navy would be of little use to the war effort. (BSRA)
