Territories ruled by the Republic of Venice.

The Republic of Venice was a state originating from the city of Venice in Northeastern Italy. It existed for over a millennium, from the late 7th century AD until 1797 AD. Despite its long history of war and conquest, the Republic's reputation was chiefly based on its status as an economic and trading power. Emperor Cayleb once compared the Republic of Venice to the Republic of Siddarmark due to both being ruled by an elected leader, based upon merchandism, and its electorate being mostly made up of several powerful families.
