The Wing was a galleon used to transport the Earl of Coris along with Princess Irys and Prince Daivyn away from the besieged Corisande.
The Wing was originally a vessel headed from the Kingdom of Chisholm, loaded with farming equipment, but hid in Elvarth to avoid the Charisian blockade. Once it had been decided that it would used to evade the blockade, a new set of log books were created, and the crew posed as Harchongese merchants headed the long way home, in order to evade privateers.
It was boarded by the Charisian schooner Dawn Star off the coast of East Island, but the boarding party failed to uncover the passengers' true identies and intentions. (BHD)
